⁠Immich Public Proxy

Share your Immich photos and albums publicly without exposing your Immich instance to the internet. IPP sits in front of Immich and serves only what you have shared. It is read-only, stateless and needs no API key.

⁠Quick start

1. Download docker-compose.yml⁠.
2. Set IMMICH_URL to the local (not public) URL of your Immich server, and PUBLIC_BASE_URL to the public URL of IPP.
3. Run docker-compose up -d and check that https://your-proxy-url.com/share/healthcheck responds.
4. In Immich's Server Settings, set the "External domain" to your IPP URL.

⁠Tags

latest, the full version (4.0.0), the minor (4.0) and the major (4), for linux/amd64 and linux/arm64. The same images are on GHCR as ghcr.io/alangrainger/immich-public-proxy.

⁠Visitor uploads

To let visitors send photos back to a share, add the optional immich-public-proxy-upload⁠ container. See https://docs.ipp.nz/visitor-uploads⁠
