⁠callas pdfToolbox CLI

The command-line version of callas pdfToolbox for checking, fixing and converting PDF files, packaged as a Docker image.

⁠Quick start

Pull the image:

docker pull callassoftware/pdftoolbox-cli

Run a preflight check using the sample profile and PDF included in the image:

docker run --rm -ti callassoftware/pdftoolbox-cli \
  ./pdfToolbox sample.kfpx sample.pdf -o=/tmp/o.pdf --licenseserver=<license-server>

Replace <license-server> with the address of your callas license server.

⁠Image variants

• essential tags: Smaller images that contain only a subset of components. Which components were removed and why is described in File components and their use in pdfToolbox SDK⁠.
• Multi-architecture: Starting with v15-1-639, images support both AMD64 (Intel64) and ARM64. Docker automatically pulls the right one for your platform.

⁠REST API service

pdfToolbox is also available as a REST API service that you can host yourself, for example to integrate it into automated workflows. The image is public, no login required:
