⁠ListsWebApp.V3

This is a personal project for me to learn Vue.JS. The container is built in Azure Pipelines for the CI pipeline with each push to Azure DevOps.

WARNING: This container is not for use in production. It builds secrets into the container for ease of testing, AND it doesn't support https. This app is deployed to an Azure App Service using an Azure Pipelines deploy step--not using this container.

⁠Use Case

Today's busy family needs a central shared grocery list. Every member of the family needs to have access to it anywhere in the world they happen to be at the time. They use a mix of Apple phones, Android phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop PCs. Households will have a mix of technology savvy, from technology professionals, to grade-school children.

⁠How to try it

1. Create a docker-compose.yaml file using the example below.
2. Bring it up using docker compose up -d --wait.
3. Navigate to http://localhost:5000/register?code=ec493b28-18fb-4b0d-a686-f0eb230678b3. (Note insecure http).
4. Create a new account
5. Sign in with that account
6. After logging in, the Browse page will offer to start with an example list. Click "Seed" to begin with this data.
7. Tear down the project when complete, with docker compose down
